Update on Kyle Khan and Mrs Raboto!

In March this year, we told you about Kyle Khan, Mega Digital’s youngest author and self-publisher, who continues to gain recognition for his book, Mrs Raboto, which he wrote and launched to the public at the tender age of 13 years old. We are thrilled to give you an update on our last post! In May, Kyle submitted his book to the Young Writers Programme (see below) and last week, he was informed that the Gauteng Education Department has approved his book and that he has been invited to attend the launch of the programme (see below). Kyle, we can’t congratulate you enough on your success and know that big things await you! Good luck and keep us updated!

Mega Digital attends SA Indie Book Fair 2015

Mike White, Mega Digital’s Operations Director, flew up to Johannesburg last week to attend the Indie Book Fair 2015. The event ran from 20 to 21 March at the Sunnyside Park Hotel in Parktown, Johannesburg. It was hosted by Porcupine Press and the launch of the African Narrative and it was the first of its kind in South Africa. There were 23 exhibitors at the Book Fair, comprising of various independent publishers and self publishers.  In addition to this, there were numerous seminars on topics around self-publishing and trends in the digital book printing industry. Mega Digital couldn’t be more thrilled for its youngest author and self-publisher, Kyle Khan, who continues to gain recognition for his book, Mrs Raboto, which he wrote and launched to the public at the tender age of 13 years old.
